The Women's Health Project contains resources and information on women's health as well as community resources for everyone on the Community Portal page.

The women's health sections are intended to provide Muslim women with reliable information about their reproductive and sexual health. We have put this page up in a lean format initially and will continue to add article, sections, and resources, insha'allah.

Sections will include introductory discussions on topics ranging from taking care of our bodies, our sexuality, birth control, to violence against women from a specifically Muslim women's perspective with links to resources such as The Women Our Bodies Ourselves website, the Muslim Women's League document on Sex and Sexuality in Islam, and other useful websites such as Kecia Ali's Muslim Sexual Ethics site.

ProgressiveIslam.Org would like to suggest that you consider giving Ramadan charity to
Second Harvest, the national food-bank for the poor, or to your local food-bank.

Second Harvest has a local food bank finder on their front page if you need help or want to contribute locally.

We are building a  Community Portal Resource Page in the Women's Health Project.  Please tell us about services in your community.
